University of Ghana students’ leader wins 2019 Miss Malaika

Junior Common Room Vice President of the Alexander Adum Kwapong Hall, University of Ghana, Phyllis Vesta Boison, has been crowned the winner of the 2019 edition of the Miss Malaika beauty pageant.
The Level 300 Accounting student prevailed over 16 other contestants over a three-month-long journey of smaller contests to win the much coveted crown.

Phyllis, 19 year-old, walks away with a brand new Nissan Saloon Car and other prizes from the many sponsors of the event.
She takes over from Mariam Owusu Poku, the 2018 winner.
